The LMSA-West on Mighty Networks channel serves as our effective communication tool for its members while laying the ground work for recruiting and supporting individuals in the healthcare professions who will strive to improve the access and delivery of healthcare to Latinos and medically underserved populations.

Connect with our members throughout all levels (Medical/Allied Health Professionals & students) throughout the LMSA West region. Alumni can join their chapter and find ways to get involved with LMSA!

Supporting us and this channel allow the LMSA-West to achieve its following objectives:

1. To maintain a communication network for Latino medical students, pre-medical students, and physicians.
2. To establish programs that facilitate and increase the recruitment of Latino medical school applicants.
3. To support the academic success of Latino students pursuing a career in medicine.
4. To support the efforts of organizations committed to the improvement of healthcare access and delivery for Latinos in LMSA West States.
5. To develop future Latinx leaders in medicine and all its dimensions, including in policy and advocacy, academics and teaching, institutional leadership, community outreach and civic engagement, scholarship and research.
